Along with the beginning of school, comes the anniversary of our marriage. This year marks fourteen years! Though the actual day of was filled with school, work and homework for Trent, we were able to steal away for a couple of nights to celebrate a couple of weeks ago with the help of some of those who love us dearly. Yay for dates with the Boyfriend!
We had a date night to the movies...
We slept in until almost noon, so spoiled!
Lunch on the water where someone very generously paid for our lunch...
Rented a kayak. Trent and I make a great team for a lot of things. Kayaking isn't one of them. One of the things I love the most about our relationship though, we can laugh it off, have a water fight and laugh until I cry.
Took our picture with the kissing statue. (After living here 12 years, it was about time)
Sat in the park people watching and enjoying the amazing weather we were having while allowing our clothes to dry. Took a lovely drive where we got to talk uninterrupted. And ended the evening with dinner at Olive garden where the manager gave us a $25 gift card towards our dinner.
We were so blessed by the time we had together, those who took on the challenge of our kids and the generosity of others.
