Seven Months

Aiden is seven months old today and is full of life. He is constantly performing a new trick which, of course, gets a lot of attention around here. Aiden has perfected an interesting army crawl. It is kind of funny to watch, but the boy can move to get something that he wants. He is now fast enough to sneak up on unexpecting siblings. He loves to grab and slobber on toes. The siblings are having to learn not to leave little toys, pennies, etc. on the the floor for even a minute.
He has been growing a lot, but only length-wise. He has finally quite chunking up and is starting to slim down a bit. Instead of gaining pounds these past 3 months, he has only gained ounces. Man are my arms glad! He still loves to eat, but has decided that he likes big people food a lot more than baby food. He won't eat baby food bananas or green beans, but loves chunks of fresh banana and beans off of my plate. I guess there is a reason that he is getting all of his teeth quickly. Aiden's favorite game is peek-a-boo. He loves to pull anything he can, especially his food covered bib, up over his face and wait for someone to say, "Where is Aiden?" He always has the biggest grin as he pulls down the bib, shirt, burp clothe, whatever. When he gets excited he bounces his entire body. The kids love to do things to get this reaction from him. The kids love to love on the kid and now he loves them back with big, opened-mouth, wet kisses. The kids take the love, but quickly wipe off the wetness. They have been trying to teach him to pucker up, but he has yet to cooperate with them. They have been successful though, in teaching him to blow them kisses. His personality is also developing more and more. He loves people and wants everyone who makes eye contact with him to hold him. He is a content little man who loves to sit and watch people. I'm so blessed to be his mommy and get to watch first hand as he grows into a little man.
